New Adventures of Alice is a novel by John Rae, written in 1917 and published by P. F. Volland of Chicago. It is, according to Carolyn Sigler, one of the more important "Alice imitations", or novels inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice books.[1]
The book opens with a little girl, Betsy, wishing for another Alice book. She passes into a dream, and finds in the attic a book which begins with Alice reading Mother Goose rhymes to her kittens, leading to further adventures.
but once again, it is a little girl that goes on this adventure.. meeting the same characters that were in the book, doesnt feel like much "re-imagining" but just a different way of going about the story

A New Alice in the Old Wonderland is a novel by Anna Matlack Richards, written in 1895 and published by J. B. Lippincott of Philadelphia. It is, according to Carolyn Sigler, one of the more important "Alice imitations", or novels inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice books.[1]
It concerns Alice Lee, an American girl with a coincidental name, visiting Wonderland and meeting all the characters she has read about in the original Alice book. The book features 67 drawings after the originals by John Tenniel which were drawn by the author's daughter, artist Anna Richards Brewster, who is credited as "Anna M. Richards, Jr.".
once again, a little girl, same characters she read about in the original book..this girl is also named alice :/
